There is peace

Jeremiah 29:11-“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Isaiah 26:3-“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 53:4-6-“4 Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.  5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” Romans 5:1-“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 14:17-“for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” One of the definitions from Dictionary.com defines peace as the cessation of or freedom from any strife or dissension.  It also gives the idiom, to be at peace, as to be untroubled, tranquil and content.
